Purchases:

When is my credit card charged?

Once you place an order with ShopDetour, we take time to verify that the information you provided is legitimate before charging your card. During this time, you may see on your credit card account that the charge is PENDING. Nothing has been charged to your credit card yet. Your credit card will be charged after we have verified the information you provided and the product has been pulled from inventory for you. Orders placed by 2 PM CST will begin processing that day. Orders will ship within 2 business days pending availability and credit card verification. Orders placed after 2 PM CST, weekends, and/or on holidays will begin processing on the next business day. Orders will ship within 2 business days of processing pending availability and credit card verification.

What happens if the product I ordered is out of stock?;

You will receive an email within 1 business day if an item you ordered is out of stock. Included in the email will be an amended invoice, if applicable. Please be aware: we do not charge your credit card if the item is out of stock - we check that before making any charges to your credit card. However, you will see that the charge is PENDING for up to 7 business days. This is because your banking institution is holding the amount of the purchase in case we do charge your account (to prevent overdrafts on your account).

What if I need to cancel an order?

You may cancel an order within 1 business day of placing that order. In order to avoid confusion, please forward the order confirmation email you received when you placed the order to with your message to cancel the order. It is helpful to indicate "PLEASE CANCEL" in the subject line.

What happens if I receive an email that says "my order can not be processed due to unverifiable credit card information"?

It means that some of the credit card information you provided does not match the information your banking institution has on record. It may be your billing address or your credit card information. Your credit card will not be charged for any order that is unverifiable. Please respond to the email as soon as possible and you will be provided with information on how to proceed. If you do not respond within 2 business days, your order will be canceled.

Why do I see "PENDING" on my credit card account when I make a purchase with ShopDetour?

You will see PENDING on your credit card because we have chosen not to automatically charge your card when your order is placed. We have chosen to do this for our customer’s financial security – it allows us to verify that the information provided is accurate and legitimate before we process orders. Orders that can not be verified for legitimacy will not be processed.

Do you ship internationally?

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

May I return/exchange a purchase at your retail location?

We do not accept returns or exchanges at our physical stores.

I have a store credit from a website return. May I use it at your retail stores?

No. Website store credit may only be used for website purchases.

I have a store credit, but I have lost the code. What should I do?

Please email . Include in the email your name and, if possible, the order number related to the store credit.
