Erica Fox wins "Project Lela" 2007

Only three of 10 designers remain in Project Lela, Milwaukee's version of the TV show "Project Runway." Each has designed a four-piece collection for Lela's fashion show 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at 321 N. Broadway. Here's a bit of the finalists' fashion philosophy.

Residence Wauwatosa

Fashion background Went to Mount Mary College and majored in fashion design. "I took a lot of art classes in high school, and there's lots of creative energy around my house because my mom is an art teacher and my dad is a printer."

Design philosophy "I'm expressing myself through fashion - it's artwork to me. When I make clothes, I want people to feel good about themselves - pretty, sexy and very comfortable in what they're wearing."

Her fashion icon "John Galliano is my favorite person in the entire world. I don't necessarily agree with how she lives her life, but I love the risks Kate Moss takes in what she wears. I would love it if Johnny Depp would wear my clothing, and Sienna Miller has a really good sense of style."

Her four-piece collection in one sentence "Fun, flirty silhouettes that were inspired by Milwaukee's finest architecture (the Calatrava)."
